Have you heard about the Kingston and Malden Scout and Guide Band ?

As a Cub Scout, Scout, Explorer Scout, Brownie, Guide or Ranger you can join us any time. We are always keen to recruit new members and offer the opportunity of taking part in an additional Scouting and Guiding activity based on music.

The Band takes it’s members from Scout groups and Guide companies in Kingston and the surrounding area and has around 35 Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Guides, Rangers and Explorer Scouts at present, led by an enthusiastic team of instructors.

During the year, we can be seen playing at various local events (such as the Malden Fortnight Parade and the Kingston May Merrie) and of course leading the District at St. George’s Day Parade.

We also compete successfully in marching band competitions.

We Meet on a Monday evening between 7.30 and 9.00 PM and you don't need to be able to read music, tuition is available - and we provide the instruments.
